“ We came here at the end of a day of taco-touring so we were a little too full to enjoy the full menu which is extensive and looks pretty good. I had just enough room to share a smoked marlin taco and I LOVED it! I would definitely come back just for that taco. My companions were excited to return and try more of the seafood menu. Some of us also got margaritas and they were nice sized and well enjoyed. Easy to find on 22nd, ample parking and table service. ”

“ 03/23/2023: Rated 4.5 stars, if there was such a thing. Stopped by Mariscos Mi Mazatlan after discovering our old haunt nearby had closed for good. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you. Upon entering, we were seated near the back and ordered chips, salsa and drinks. Our waitress kicked up the heat level on the salsa per our request, making it just the correct picante level. Of course we ate too many chips, doesn't everyone? These were homemade, light, crispy and right out of the fryer. Loving oysters, we ordered 2 orders of Ostiones Especiales. OMGosh! Those were really good, almost like a cheviche on the shell. For dinner we ordered the Chef Special, packed with all sorts of seafood deliciousness and onion, yellow peppers and lastly, bacon. The seafood was cooked just right, moist and tender. (no rubberyiness). And the Steak & Shrimp topped off with a roasted jalapeno pepper. Yum. steak came out medium rare, moist and tender. We left with our bellies full and completely satisfied. Another fun hidden gem in Tucson. ”
